Fairfield Inn Corning Riverside

I stayed one night at the Fairfield and was pleased with several aspects - the room was clean, the water ran hot and the bed was comfy. Lots of plugs and a fridge and microwave in every room. The elevator and the AC/heater were very quiet and did not disturb my sleep. Couple of quibbles: there needs to be hand sanitizer in the dispensers by the elevators; the bathroom door was very hard to close, coming too close to the toilet; there is constant noise from the freeways around the hotel, so if that bothers you, be aware. Almost nothing at the breakfast or the little marketplace for someone on a limited diet. But overall, I was still pleased with the service and room in general, these are small tidbits.

My son attends college in the area and this has become my go to stay. Jeff is always amazing. He recognizes us each time we come in and its very nice. I am very pleased that each time we visit we make certain requests and they are always granted. This will continue to be our go to location. I look forward to seeing you all in 2 weeks.

Had a lovely time here visiting some friends and checking out the Corning Museum of Glass. Overall, solid Marriott choice in a town with not many choices. Pros - super nice staff, solid breakfast, had a fun game to play (Fairfieldopoly), solid room, and great location. Cons - our room faced the road and fair amount of road noise, some nights the landscape/exterior lighting shot right into window.

Hotel was in a very useful location. The staff was super friendly. Pool and gym are free and extensive. Breakfast in the morning is free as well. Quiet and clean. Rooms were great. Overall a very good value for the money!!

I am staying here with the National Guard working the prison strike. The employees have been amazing. They put out the breakfast early for us each morning which is such a break from the food we had. They are all so polite and the hotel is very clean.

A special shout out and a Huge THANK YOU TO ROSEMARY MAGNUSEN ! When our grandchild was to be born we stayed at her hotel in Corning NY, There were delivery problems and we stayed there a lot longer then planned. Rosemary did everything possible to accommodate us. We are so grateful to her for her kindness during a very stressful time. Rosemary & staff are to be highly commended. Came here for a marathon weekend, and the staff was really great. Simple, typical Fairfield that was well kept, but the staff were particularly kind, super accommodating, efficient, and went above and beyond. Location is great both for any sightseeing in Corning, and is next to the highway to get to Finger Lakes within as little as 25 minutes depending on what you’re looking for. Would definitely recommend.

A clean and modern facility, with friendly staff at the front desk. Rooms are comfortable and clean with nice mattresses. Didn't use the pool, but it looked like it was well enjoyed by vacationers. Breakfast offered a good mix of hot and cold items. Hard-boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon was on offer. There was also a waffle making machine that would make fresh waffles. Plenty of side accompaniments for waffles and sandwiches. Good selection of fresh fruits as well. Overall, a impressive spread. Plenty of level 2 charging at the front of the hotel, with a Tesla destination charger and an additional level two J1772 charger on the side of the hotel.
